MANCHESTER CHAMBER CONCERTS SOCIETY
Artistic Director: Martin Roscoe

2016-17 Season
The 2016/7 season celebrates the 80th anniversary of MCCS

One of the world’s top quartets, Quatour Mosaiques, make a welcome return, as do the dynamic Carducci Quartet. Exciting newcomers Arcadia Quartet and Quartet Chiaroscuro (Alina Ibragimova is first violinist) visit us for the first time, as do the Sitkovetsky Trio and brilliant young harpsichordist Mahan Esfahani, who plays an intriguing programme with top flautist Adam Walker. The amazing viola virtuoso Lawrence Power with pianist Simon Crawford-Philips will give a recital to complete our normal seven concert series, but as this is a special anniversary season, by popular request we will end with an extra concert of large ensemble masterpieces given by Ensemble 360°.

All concerts are held at the RNCM Concert hall @ 7.30pm
